We know beer and pizza go hand in hand usually, but not like this!
Macaulay Culkin‘s band The Pizza Underground, which takes popular hits, usually by the Velvet Underground, and reworks the lyrics to include pizza, received worse treatment than the treatment given to the pizza delivery guy in the first Home Alone.
While at the Dot to Dot festival at the Rock City performance venue in Nottingham, England, Macaulay and The Pizza Underground were booed after one number, and were pelted with full pints of beer.
That is just plain rude, and dangerous. No one should toss a beer at another unless someone else says, “beer me.”
Seriously, who would want to be tapped on their body with something on tap?!
Macaulay tried to keep calm the crowd calm, even during this brew-haha:
“Why are you throwing those? I’d rather drink them.”
Eventually he had to end his performance early after only a couple of songs, as security stormed the stage and kicked certain rowdy audience members out.
Later on, the band sent out this tweet:
Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone.

That is pretty unfortunate. Oh well, their loss!
