Well, this is an interesting turn of events!
Earlier this year, Paris Hilton slammed Antebi Footwear Group with a hefty lawsuit, claiming they owed her money and breached a licensing agreement contract.
But instead of going on the defensive, Antebi Footwear retaliated by filing a $2 million lawsuit against Paris — meaning they├óΓé¼Γäóre actually asking for MORE than what Miz Hilton initially tried to sue them for!
Antebi says the wealthy heiress cheated on her exclusivity contract with them, stating that Paris:
├óΓé¼┼ô…has breached the Licensing Agreements referred to in the complaint by willfully, unlawfully and without just cause violating the├óΓé¼┬ªexclusivity provisions of the Agreement├óΓé¼┬ªby engaging in the licensure, promotion, distribution, marketing and sale of competing, non-Antebi footwear.├óΓé¼┬¥
She apparently launched a shoe line called Parisian Parc with Retouch Brands last year, even though she was only supposed to be making shoe lines through Antebi. The company thinks that’s enough for her suit against them to be dismissed!
On top of that, Antebi wants Paris to pay them “costs, disbursements and reasonable attorneys’ fees” for their trouble.
Sounds complicated!
