Word on the street is that Vin Diesel has been having some trouble adjusting to Fast & Furious without Paul Walker.
Though Universal has denied having any problems with the star, Vin himself has referenced the problems in a new Facebook post.
With a photo of himself on set with his late co-star, Vin wrote:
“There wasn├óΓé¼Γäót a scene in the saga he didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to discuss, improve… even with just a changing of a line or adding a specific nuance to enrich a moment.”
But as easy as it was to work with Paul, working without him seems to be taking its toll. Vin wrote about the hard work of using stand-ins for his friend:
“With our new ambitious vfx team, the whole cast and crew has had to adjust to this awkward and uncomfortable process of pixels over people. Aside from the obvious strains it places on the director, the challenge is not to allow it to compromise what makes the character so special.”
It sounds like he’s still working hard. But no one can replace a lost friend. We hope things get better for Vin and the rest of the cast.
