Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale totally auditioned for one of the most sexual and sought after roles of 2013…
And it was Fifty Shades Of Grey / mind bogglingly awkward!
In a new interview, the starlet spilled everything about her tough audition, including what she had to do in the casting room:
“It was unlike any audition I have ever done before in my life. It was like a two-page monologue of dialogue of exactly what you would think it would be. Very uncomfortable. But it was sort of one of those things where you just had to go for it or you├óΓé¼Γäóre just gonna look lame ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ hopefully, I didn├óΓé¼Γäót look lame.”
Lucy continued, revealing the script was extremely racy and totally unlike her PLL character, Aria:
“It was unlike any audition I’ve ever done before in my life. I don’t know if it was from another movie, but I think it was written just for this audition. Let├óΓé¼Γäós just say I don├óΓé¼Γäót want my grandmother watching this audition tape.”
The role ended up going to Dakota Johnson, and Lucy now has a blooming singing career!
So all is well that ends well, right?!
