One Of The Twelve Year Old Girls Involved In The Slender Man Case Was Found Incompetent To Stand Trial

And the ruling is in — for one of the underaged suspects.
Just last week, the two 12-year-old girls who stabbed their friend 19 times because of fictional character Slender Man appeared in a Wisconsin court for their first court hearing since the violent attack.
But before allowing the case to move forward, a judge ordered an examination of whether or not “mental disease or defect” will be an issue for the trial.
As a result of the examination, one of the girls in question was declared not competent to stand trial by two doctors who evaluated her.
The other suspect remains unevaluated until August 1st, when both girls are expected to return to court.
If both girls are found not competent to strand trial, they could possibly be tried as juveniles — or at least that’s what their attorneys are trying to do.
This whole thing is terribly sad. Thankfully the victim is slowly, but surely, healing.
We do hope the victim will get the justice she deserves.
