This probably wasn’t the best move on Mischa Barton‘s part…especially since her Beverly Hills mansion is in foreclosure…
Reportedly, the former O.C. star was supposed to begin filming on a project titled Promoted, which she was ACTUALLY hired for, but she blew them off!
Why? Oh, well, she was just partying in Europe!
When those in charge of the movie emailed their leading lady about costumes and the start date, they got a response from Mischa’s MOTHER saying:
‘Mischa is still in Europe and won’t be available until the 20th of this month.’
WOW! Talk about rude!
So, the producers are (obviously) suing her for the money spent/time lost and it is quite a pretty penny!
They’re looking to win back the $20,000 advance she was given, the $200,000 marketing budget that was spent, and the money they lost due to Mischa not being a part of the project anymore for a grand total of $320,000!
YIKES!
Maybe she’s raking in the dough from her new diet campaign so she doesn’t have to worry about this lowly lawsuit?
Well, we can only HOPE that’s it, otherwise gurlfriend is NOT in a good spot!
