Teacher Fired For Playing Beyoncé's Drunk in Love To Her Sixth Grade Class!

Beyoncé and Jay Z may not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things these days.
But we bet they would both agree how this probably wasn’t the best move for a teacher!
Atlanta Public Schools has stopped a sixth grade teacher named Nikki Turner from coming in to work, and they’re attempting to remove her completely partly because of the fact that she played the song Drunk in Love for her students at the Coan Middle School.
Here’s how a school district document explained the charges:

“This song contained profanity, vulgarity, and sexually explicit lyrics. This song is not [in] alignment with Teacher Keys Standard 9, Professionalism.”

That wasn’t ALL that the teacher has been cited for though. She also has been charged with “failing to present material clearly, demonstrate knowledge of the sixth-grade math concepts and student needs, provide feedback to students during class, and properly plan lessons.”
Well, that seems like it would be enough to dismiss a teacher, so Drunk In Love seems like it was the last straw!
The teacher’s lawyer, Ann Brumbaugh, declined to speak on the specific allegations, but described her teacher client as “a dedicated, passionate teacher.├óΓé¼┬¥
A dedicated, passionate teacher with exquisite taste in music, no matter how inappropriate it is! LOLz!
