This is certainly some innnnnneresting casting!
With the success of the last John Green book-to-movie adaptation, The Fault in Our Stars, it’s no surprise FOX has gone ahead with production on another of his novels, Paper Towns.
Well, some big casting news has been announced today and it turns out that none other than Cara Delevingne will be playing the lead role opposite Nat Wolff!
How exciting!
The model is no stranger to movies, having scored some minor roles, but this marks the first time she’s landed a starring role in anything!
Which would be worrisome, however, John Green took to Twitter to sing the praises of the model/actress.
He said:
Cara Delevigne’s audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!

Even though Cara’s got John’s support, it seems she’s getting mixed reviews from fans of the book.
We guess we’ll just have to wait til the movie is released to see how well she’ll do!
