Film has begun, Joe Manganiello and Channing Tatum are getting back into stripper shape, and Matthew McConaughey… isn’t coming back??
Director Greg Jacobs has revealed that though it was previously reported that the entire cast would be back for the sequel, the film will not actually be part of the McConaissance.
Why? Well, it’s less about Matthew not having time for the movie and more about the script not having room for the Dallas.
And that’s not the only thing that’s different! Greg says:
“It’s a road trip movie. And put it this way, it’s different enough that once you see it you’ll understand why we made a sequel. No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice.”
That’s it? That’s all you can give us??
What a strip tease!
We guess it makes sense that Dallas would keep manning the Xquisite stage and couldn’t leave for a road trip. But man are we going to miss him!
