Jennifer Lopez's Monster-In-Law To Become A TV Series! How Similar Will The Series Be To The Movie?

If you liked the 2005 rom com, Monster-in-Law, we have good news!
Fox has plans to adapt the film into a comedy series into half hour episodes and the series will be a follow up to where the movie left off. The plot of the series will center around a couple(not played by Jennifer Lopez and Michael Vartan) who are navigating parenthood while simultaneously dealing with the complicated dynamic between daughter in-law and mother in-law.

The project will be written by the Carrie Diaries developer/executive producer Amy B. Harris and 30 Rock executive producer John Riggi.
While the series in just the beginning stages, we’re excited to see how the project turns out!
