UPDATE: Seth has since tweeted a follow-up to his original American Sniper post, saying:
I just said something “kinda reminded” me of something else. I actually liked American Sniper. It just reminded me of the Tarantino scene.

American Sniper is a huge hit with fans AND critics.
Not only did it break box office records, it also scored one of eight Oscar nominations for Best Picture this year.

But there are those out there with a second opinion, and Seth Rogen is apparently happy to lead the cinematic slams against the movie.
He tweeted:
American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that’s showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.

For those that don’t remember, Stolz Der Nation was the propaganda film where a German sniper plays himself — the film Shoshanna uses to trap the Nazi leaders in the theater.
So, yeah. He just compared the movie to a caricature of a Nazi propaganda film. Ouch.
Do U agree with Seth’s criticism?
