Despite universal approval, the Twin Peaks reboot on Showtime might not be happening after all!
That’s because in a recent interview creator David Lynch shared that there have been complications with the new season. Apparently, even though all of the episodes are written, contract negotiations are not going swimmingly.

At the Between Two Worlds exhibition in Brisbane, Lynch let some upsetting news out, despite vowing to keep quiet. He said:
David Lynch reponds to the question what it feels like to return to Twin Peaks after 25 years: “I haven’t returned yet. And we’re still working on the contract. A notice to everyone involved: This a labor of love, not a cash grab! Stop being greedy!
Lynch said it’s not money that’s the issue, according to reports, but since the scripts are all done, it’s clearly something about the contracts that isn’t sitting right.
Even though this isn’t ideal, the good news is that the show is very much still on the table, and it’s just a matter of negotiations.
