Bravo Wilco!
The alt rock band just announced on Twitter that they have cancelled their April 7 show in Indianapolis over the Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
The act was signed into law last Thursday in the state’s Republican-dominated legislature with the intent to prevent the government from infringing on a person’s religious beliefs.
However, the opponents say the act allows business owners to discriminate against LGBT persons on the basis of their sexual orientation. In two strongly worded tweets, Wilco said the act was discriminatory:

We applaud the band for exercising their freedom of speech against this “Freedom” act.
Wilco joins Miley Cyrus, Hillary Clinton and many others in seeking a repeal, though Indiana’s governor Mike Pence told news outlets the law won’t change.
