E! postponed new episodes of Fashion Police until September, so everyone’s wondering what will become of the smack-talk show.
With the tragic passing of Joan Rivers last year, Giuliana Rancic‘s controversial Zendaya comments, and Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin both walking off the show, no one’s really sure what the future holds for the popular program.
Well, rumors are swirling now that Melissa Rivers wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps and be a host for the show!

Sources speculate the 47-year-old wants Joan’s legacy to live on:
“Melissa is saying that she is going to host the show. No one understands the show more than she does and this is what her mother would want.”
Melissa already plays her part of Executive Producer, so it’ll be interesting to see if she makes the jump in front of the camera!
