On Wednesday, Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter to make a very special shout out to one certain A-List celebrity whose support she couldn’t do without — and it wasn’t Kim Kardashian West.
Though, we do have to give props to Kim for being an amazing spokesperson for the family!
Rather, it was new pal Laverne Cox! LOVES it!

She wrote:

The Orange Is The New Black star is the first transgendered celebrity to be nominated for an Emmy and has been a vocal supporter of the former Olympian since she announced her transition.
Back in May, Laverne penned a touching note on Tumblr for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
She gushed:
“Caitlyn looks amazing and is beautiful but what I think is most beautiful about her is her heart and soul. The ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities.
The love and devotion she has for her family and that they have for her. Her courage to move past denial into her truth so publicly. These things are beyond beautiful to me.”
Tissues, anyone?!
We think this is only the start of what will be a new powerhouse best friendship! Move over Taylor Swift‘s squad — there’s a new team in town.
