Kylie Jenner was terrified to tell her parents she was going to be a mom!
During an appearance on Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast on Wednesday, the reality star looked back on being pregnant with her first child, Stormi Webster, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, at only 19 years old. Naturally, Ky was “freaking out” at the time about becoming a young mother! Something any teen parent can relate to! Not only that, but she was so afraid to tell Kris and Caitlyn Jenner about the pregnancy! The Kardashians star recalled:
“I was 19 when I got pregnant. I was freaking out. Yeah, I was freaking out. I was really scared to tell my parents. And it was — I was really scared.”

But at the same time, a part of Kylie knew she wanted her daughter:
“There was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself: What do I really want? What can I handle? And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice that I’m going to make.”
Once she made her decision, she told her parents! Their reaction? Kylie shared:
“And then I told my mom. No one was angry at me. It was a crazy time.”
Phew! That must have been such a relief for Ky!
Although the Kylie Cosmetics founder told her parents, she tried to keep her pregnancy a secret from the public and hid at home for months. But the truth comes out eventually! She then announced the news with the iconic “To Our Daughter” video on YouTube! Kylie continued:
“I really didn’t leave the house. I felt like, at the time, you know, reflecting back to it, I felt like I was protecting myself. And I was in a way. But right when I posted that video, I sobbed for three hours because it felt like so much weight on my shoulders. And it’s just a big thing that I was, hiding from the world. And I was worried about everyone’s reactions. It was just so emotional. And I’m like, ‘Maybe next time I wouldn’t do that.'”
Unfortunately, things did not work out the way she wanted the second time around! She apparently had a tough pregnancy with her son Aire Webster that forced her to stay in bed — because he was practically falling out of her vagina! Ouch!
