This could’ve been so much worse!
Hank Baskett and the rest of the cast of Marriage Boot Camp were participating in an exercise on WE tv‘s hit show that involved him taking a paddle and hitting a punching bag while letting out his anger through past criticisms in his marriage.
And while the others — including Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Baskett’s wife Kendra Wilkinson — went through the exercise seamlessly, things got scary when Baskett took the paddle.

The former pro football player was slamming the bag when the paddle broke in two, and part of it flew right into marriage coach Jim Carroll‘s face and struck him on the neck! Yikes!!
Fortunately, Carroll wasn’t seriously injured, it doesn’t appear — but the scene was incredibly emotional nonetheless. Check out the highly charged video (below):
