Headed To Prison

The Situation Gets His Sentencing For Tax Evasion!

The Situation will be GTL-ing behind bars.

Jersey Shore star Mike Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised release for tax evasion on Friday.

The MTV star was facing a max of five years in jail after pleading guilty to the charges in January, so it looks like the judge let him off easy as prosecutors suggested.

His brother, Marc, wasn’t so lucky. Indicted at the same time as Sitch on tax evasion charges, Marc was sentenced to two years in the slammer and a $70,000 fine.

Still, the reality star was photographed looking at ease on his way out of federal court in Newark, NJ, holding fiancee Lauren Pesce’s hand with most of his castmates in tow.

Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizziand Deena Cortese all dressed in black to accompany the 36-year-old to court. As Sitch was receiving his sentencing, they roamed the streets of Newark, filming an episode of their reality show, of course.

Mike’s attorney Henry Klingeman told TMZ of the sentencing:

“Mike accepts the Court’s judgment. He is looking forward to marrying his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce, next month and moving forward together after he serves his sentence.”

We can only hope there will be at least one Jersey Shore Family Prison Visit.

‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ Recap: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Alleges Big-Time Baby Drama With Baby Momma Jen Harley

'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' Recap:

So Much Heavy Drama Between Ronnie & Baby Momma Jen Harley!

Jersey Shore Family Vacation returned for a brand new season on Thursday night, and boy, they sure know how to pick up right where they left off with the high-stakes drama and flared tempers!

The premiere last night centered on the cast heading to Vegas to get in whatever trouble they can find, but things really focused on life back home for Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and his on-again/off-again girlfriend Jen Harley.

Related: Ronnie Gets Back To Joking About Crazy Fights…

In the episode, we see what happened behind-the-scenes as Jen goes into labor while Ronnie is on a press tour with the rest of his Jersey Shore cast — not an easy thing to miss out on, bro!!

(As we know, of course, Jen would wind up fully healthy through delivery, giving birth to their daughter Ariana Sky back on April 3.)

Anyways, back on the show, the birth’s aftermath is something to see: a bitter fight between Ronnie and Jen escalates into a full-out social media battle, and Ortiz-Magro struggles throughout the episode trying to play peacemaker after the first big blowout. (He even turns down an invite to a strip club! Really, Ron?! This is Jersey Shore, bro!!)

After a few up-and-down days of partying, fighting, and making up, Ronnie finally comes clean about what’s really going on with Jen: he believes she’s capable of taking Ariana away from him.

The rest of the cast is shocked, not knowing up until that point exactly what Ron was going through, but he reveals it to them straight (below):

“I don’t want to say anything bad about Jen because she’s the mother of my daughter. But she’s got a lot of issues with me being in the house right now. She told me. She’s like, I don’t trust you, I don’t want you in the house. I haven’t been straightforward with my roommates. Me and Jen fight all the time, and there’s nothing stable … I’m scared of losing my f**king daughter. Jen, she’s irrational. She’s capable of taking the baby and going away.”

At that point, he reveals to the rest of the cast that he’s been prevented from seeing Ariana Sky already for as many as six days at a time, adding (below):

“I won’t even know where my daughter is. It’s crazy. I’m going through hell with her.”

Everybody — except for Jenni Farley, who has been vocal about liking Harley — buys it, and tries to offer Ronnie legal and relationship advice, but he’s not trying to hear it.

Jenni nevertheless comes over the top with some reality for the situation, pointing out to Ron that he’s just as guilty for causing social media drama in his relationship as his baby momma may be (below):

“Hold on, really? So why the f**k are you on Instagram trying to bait her as well? Do you want my honest opinion? Leave [Harley] and fight for your daughter, and then go get help. Go to the court. Go get a lawyer. You gotta take responsibility. You f**ked a crazy b*tch! You got a crazy b*tch pregnant!”

She’s not wrong, though…

And if this is how much Ron-Jen drama we see just in the first episode… get ready for a WILD ride this season on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, y’all!!

‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Weighs In On Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s Volatile Relationship With Jen Harley!

'If Ron Likes Her, We Like Her'

The ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Got Real With Ronnie About His Relationship!

If anyone will knock some sense into Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, it’s his Jersey Shore housemates.

Ahead of Jerzday’s Season 2 premiere, the cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation weighed in on Ronnie’s volatile relationship with baby momma Jen Harley.

While they all just want what’s best for the father-of-one, some of the castmates said they felt the need to hit the Las Vegas resident with some tough love about his love life in the first few episodes.

Jenni “JWoww” Farley explained to People:

“You’re going to see me giving him a little bit of tough love in the first couple of episodes. It just stems from, honestly, love. We love him, we want the best for him. Sometimes when people are in it, they don’t realize what it’s like looking from the outside in. You’ve kind of got to wake that person up.”

The on-again, off-again couple has been making headlines over the past few months for multiple altercations — and, fortunately for fans, some of those will play out on the show.

Unfortunately for the cast, they were swept up in some of the duo’s drama, as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino recalled:

“It was hard on us, too. Because we were trying to support him in this difficult situation that he was in and at certain times we didn’t know what to do.”

Sometimes reality TV can get too real.

Even though the cast may have their reservations about Ronnie’s situation, they still support Ronnie all the way because he genuinely likes his baby momma. Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio told Us Weekly:

“It puts us in a weird position, you know, when your friend has somebody and you see that significant other’s treating them bad, you’re like, you have to like this person because they’re going to be back with them, that’s how we are with her. She’s treating him like this, we have to like like her, if he likes her. It’s just a weird situation, but it’s not for us to really like, it’s for him. We support Ronnie. 100 percent.”

J-Woww agreed, adding:

“I always say, ‘If Ron likes her, we like her.’ Whatever emotion he’s on.”

That does sound super supportive!

Or is it enabling a toxic relationship?

We guess we’ll find out once we get a closer look at Ronnie and Jen on this season of JSFV!

A Jersey truce… for now.

After an eight-year feud, the Jersey Shore cast finally decided to bury the hatchet with Angelina Pivarnick, the OG cast member who fled the reality series not once, but TWICE in the first two seasons.

Jerzday night’s episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation picked up from last week’s cliffhanger: a tipsy Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi walking in on their roomie-turned-nemesis sitting with the guys. Needless to say, it was not a welcome surprise.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may still be under construction, but he’s already putting down some rock-solid foundation.

On Sunday, the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star took to Instagram to celebrate two years of sobriety. Sharing an inspiring message along with a pic of his two-year Narcotics Anonymous medallion, the reality star wrote that addicts “do recover” with the right mentality and support.

Sitch definitely has a support system in his longtime girlfriend (now fiancé) Lauren Pesce, whom he plans on tying the knot with later this year.

Though it’s not all sunny skies for the muscle head — Sorrentino is still facing jail time for tax fraud and evasion. But if he can get through Season 3 of Jersey Shore, we’re confident Sitch can get through anything!
