The 43-year-old actress took to Instagram to post a selfie all dolled up with a ton of makeup and in a massively large red wig that could only be from the early ’90s.

Why? As a nod to her Modern Family hubby Ed O’Neill, who was married to Katey Sagal‘s Peg Bundy in the classic Married with Children!
