Amy Schumer is on a mission against gun violence, and she’s enlisting the help of her fans and followers.
Once again, the 34-year-old has joined forces with her cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, to speak out and take a stand against the terrible problem affecting our society.

In New York City on Sunday, the twosome stood on the steps of City Hall to hold a press conference — in which they encourage the public and social media users to take part in the conversation — so that they can hopefully force legislators to vote on the matter next year.
The blonde beauty took to Twitter and Instagram to post a picture from the event (above), and captioned the shot:
“Please join me and @SenSchumer in ending gun violence and tweet the hashtag #aimingforchange RT we can do this.”
The comedian also used her profiles to share the various steps in the Senator’s plan to reduce gun violence. Take a look at his proposal (below):

Chuck’s plan would also entice states to follow his rules by providing financial rewards to those who completely comply and submit all the required records, while also punishing the ones that don’t.
We’re proud of his cousin, who has been very vocal about gun control ever since a there was a shooting at a July screening of her film, Trainwreck, in Louisiana.
