Could you imagine a world without Making A Murderer?
The popular Netflix docuseries has sparked countless conversations about Steven Avery‘s conviction in Teresa Halbach‘s 2005 murder.
And considering the whole thing has caused a lot of people to take a really critical look at our justice system — particularly in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin — we weren’t entirely surprised that the state wanted to squash the whole thing!

On Wednesday, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos — AKA the popular production’s creators — took over the series’ Twitter for a Q&A, and things got pretty interesting when they were asked about the biggest challenges they faced when filming the 10-part project.
The lovely ladies revealed that the state of Wisconsin tried to shut them down, sharing:

Well, we’re so glad that they won that legal battle, because we’re STILL obsessing over the show!
And, this wasn’t the only juicy tidbit that the social media event touched upon!
The producers also opened up about all the evidence that didn’t make the cut that prosecutor Ken Kratz insisted was really important, saying:
No. Strongest evidence of guilt is in the series. The evidence left out is less significant, redundant… (1 of 2) https://t.co/fv38WDT3pr

Specifically, they talked about Steven’s DNA evidence that was found under the hood of the late photographer’s car, writing:

They also addressed why the 53-year-old continuously called AutoTrader requesting Teresa, explaining:
Teresa was the only Auto Trader photographer who covered Manitowoc. (1 of 2) https://t.co/6Up7ausuET

They even touched upon the story in which he supposedly greeted her wearing only a towel, posting:

They also opened up about recent claims from Steven’s former fianc├â┬⌐e, Jodi Stachowski, who said she only painted him in a positive light because he had threatened her:

But the most important thing Laura and Moira wanted fans to take away from this Q&A was that they didn’t have an agenda while making the docu-series, saying:
