As we told you, Joey Feek gathered her family around earlier this week as she made her official goodbyes.
The country singer was diagnosed with terminal stage IV cervical cancer last June and has remained under hospice care since the fall.
It seems as though Joey is holding on to every last moment, as she held her eldest step-daughter Heidi‘s hand Thursday night.

Her devoted husband Rory — who has documented the family’s journey via his blog — took to the country music duo’s Facebook page to capture the heartfelt moment:
