Celebrities and cultural appropriation unfortunately go together a little too well.
Even with the conversation out in the mainstream, many famous people who really should know better continue to treat sacred items from other cultures like fashion accessories, thereby diluting their importance.
The Native American headdress and Hindu bindi are two prime examples.
Some celebs have apologized when called out on their behavior, but a great many of them continue to obliviously wear whatever cultural item they feel like whenever they want to.
