Still such sad, sad stuff.
The parents of Kevin James Loibl — the man who shot and killed Christina Grimmie on Friday night before eventually killing himself — have spoken publicly (in a way) for the first time since the tragedy.

At the St. Petersburg, Florida home where Loibl’s parents live, there was a note tacked to the door that reporters found when they tried to contact the family after the tragedy, offering condolences to Grimmie’s family and friends.
An AP correspondent shared a picture of the note on the family’s door (below):

Loibl is suspected of driving the two-hour journey from St. Petersburg to Orlando specifically to kill Grimmie, police say.

Law enforcement is still working on going through Loibl’s personal belongings and social media accounts to try to figure out a motive; it does not appear he and Grimmie ever had contact with each other before Friday night.
RIP, Christina.
