President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are making their mark after eight years in the White House with TWO October covers!
The stunning couple are definitely #goals, looking so radiant posing for the newest issue of Essence (above) together. No wonder it’s a collector’s edition!

Inside the glossy, POTUS speaks on his time in the office, saying:
“├óΓé¼┬ªI can unequivocally say that America is better off now than we were when we came into office. By almost every economic measure, we’re better off. But having said that, we still have a lot of work to do.”
The Obamas plan to continue their work with their initiatives, such as My Brother’s Keeper, Let Girls Learn, and more.
And on a more sartorial note, FLOTUS also stars solo on the front page of InStyle, absolutely slaying in a structured teal gown!
While she has been known for her on-trend sense of style throughout her time in the White House, Miz Obama shares she’s not as into the latest crazes as you may think:
“I tend not to worry about the trends, because what works for an 18-year-old selfie queen may not for a 52-year-old First Lady who is a mom of teenagers she is trying to be a good role model for.”
