Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer had a lot of thoughts about current QB Colin Kaepernick‘s national anthem protest this weekend on ESPN as football returned in full — but one person wasn’t having ANY of it!
During a pre-game show on Sunday morning, Dilfer shared his opinion about Kaepernick’s decision to protest the anthem, only to have fellow former player Randy Moss STARE. HIM. DOWN.

Here’s where it started — with Dilfer speaking about Kaepernick and how he doesn’t “respect” the San Francisco 49ers‘ QB for his stance on police brutality in America (below):

Did U see it?!
Watch the clip again, but don’t look at Dilfer talking — watch Moss reacting. What a stare down!!

People all over the Internet noticed Moss’ glare at Dilfer as the man spoke, and it led to some REALLY funny tweets (below)!

LOLz!!
And another user made a great point about the contrast in perspectives, mentioning Moss and Charles Woodson (another former NFL star speaking out that morning) versus Dilfer:
Randy Moss and Charles Woodson speak eloquently and intelligently, then Trent Dilfer says football is more important than social issues

But the ‘net may have blown the entire face out of proportion; it might just be a case of serious RBF.
At least that’s what one football beat writer — who’s worked quite a bit with Moss — had to say:
FWIW: Had the Randy Moss stare directed at me many times in #Vikings days. Didn’t always connote anger. Usually just meant he was listening.

Still, pretty funny!!
