Poor Renée Zellweger!
The stuff actors go through on late night shows is always a thing of legend (and hilarity, and awkwardness), but on Monday night’s ep of The Tonight Show, the Bridget Jones’s Baby star took it to a whole different weight class!

Jimmy Fallon, dressed as Santa Claus, faced off against Ren├â┬⌐e — who was a rotund robot — in a best-of-three Heavyweight Wrestling matchup (above) that ended in a HIGHlarious way!
Ironically though, that’s not Ren├â┬⌐e’s only funny misadventure as she makes the media run to promote her new Bridget Jones flick!
Speaking to Fallon on Monday night, she said of a recent interview:
“I think I fell asleep in an interview about a month ago in London’ she revealed while drawing parallels to Ms. Jones. I was still talking but I wasn’t present, and when I came to, I was like wow, you’re still talking.’ By the look on his face I think he noticed!”
Auto-pilot?! Oops!

Fortunately for Ren├â┬⌐e, it doesn’t look like her auto-pilot mode turned into anything controversial — but girl, seriously, SLEEP!
Bridget Jones’s Baby is in theaters on September 16 — that’s this Friday — so hopefully Ren├â┬⌐e is getting to the very end of her media whirlwind!
