Tom Ford is not going to dress incoming First Lady Melania Trump, but it’s not because of his political leanings.
Moreover, the 55-year-old has already refused to dress the ex-model in the past.

During an interview with The View on Wednesday, the former Gucci creative director said:
“[Melania is] not necessarily my image.”
Sad! Just wait till The Donald hears this. He might go on another ill-advised and childish Twitter rampage.
You’ve been warned, Tom!
The film director also added that he wouldn’t dress Hillary Clinton either, even though he voted for her in the election, saying:
“Even if Hillary had won, she shouldn’t be wearing my clothes either. They’re too expensive.”
Wow, okay then.
It should be noted, however, the Mr. Ford did dress FLOTUS Michelle Obama on one previous occasion, so we guess his clothes weren’t too expensive for her. Or something.
As for whether Melania should wear luxurious and high-priced pieces, he said:
“I’m going to leave that to Melania.”
Hey, her hubby’s a billionaire and loves to boast about the fact, why shouldn’t she wear expensive outfits???
Donald can afford it!
