Welcome to Shitshow 2017 aka Donald Trump‘s inaugural ball!
After being sworn into office, the businessman, wife Melania Trump, VP Mike Pence, and his wife Karen Pence attended three balls in Washington, D.C.: two of the balls — Liberty and Freedom: The Official Presidential Inaugural Balls — were held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center; and the third — Salute To Our Armed Services Ball — took place at the National Building Museum.

When festivities began, the audience was treated to a performance by The Rockettes who did their famous leg-kick dance!

As you may recall, after they were announced as an act, some of the dancers FLAT OUT refused to perform because they opposed Trump’s presidency. Hopefully things were smoothed out??
Then, a cute band with children called Pelican 212 took the stage to perform James Brown‘s I Feel Good. They were so adorable, we almost forgot how horrible a man Trump is!

The Piano Guys — who performed the night before at the pre-inauguration event — came back and did a cover of Rachel Platten‘s Fight Song, which coincidentally was also used by Hillary Clinton in her campaign.

For some reason, Irish step dancers from Michael Flatley‘s Lord of the Dance performed. At least there was some eye-candy??

Overall, it was a really boring night marking the beginning of a torturous four years for America. We’re screwed, y’all!
