Remember the good ole days of Destiny’s Child where they wore some of the weirdest shit ever?
Well, Tina Knowles Lawson, who used to design and sew the girls’ outfits herself, now admits that some of it was definitely crazy!

In a new New York Times profile, the 63-year-old said:
“They looked a little crazy sometimes, but people always wondered what they were going to wear next.”
She’s not wrong! And honestly some of those outfits are iconic now.
Beyonc├â┬⌐, who was also interviewed for the profile, appeared to defend her mother’s work, saying:
“My mother has always been invested in making women feel beautiful. Whether it was through someone sitting in her hair chair or making a prom dress for one of the girls at church. And her art collection always told the stories of women wanting to do the same.”
Miss Tina has not stopped designing, however, even if time has not been kind to her past work.
She most recently designed looks for daughter Solange‘s A Seat At The Table project, creating a purple dress and a gold fringed jacket for the 30-year-old to wear in the Cranes in the Sky video.
She also made Solange’s gown for her performance at President Obama‘s farewell party on January 6.
