Donald Trump seemingly won’t help, but Lindsay Lohan will!
As you probably saw this week, seven-year-old Bana Alabed from Aleppo, Syria wrote Drumpf a heart-wrenching letter as a plea for him to help her fellow Syrians. Considering his recent plans for an “immigration blitz,” it seems unlikely President Trump even gave it a look.

Meanwhile, former party girl LiLo is continuing her humanitarian efforts by paying Bana a visit in Turkey with the nation’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdo├ä┼╕an.
The inspiring little girl took to Twitter to document the actress’ visit (above), and even shared a sweet video from their meet-up (below):

Her odd accent aside, it’s not the first time the 30-year-old has brought awareness to the plight of Syrians. In September and October, Lindsay paid an emotional visit to Turkey to visit more refugees.
It breaks our hearts!
But it made for the perfect opportunity for the starlet to post her first Instagram since wiping it clean ahead of the new year:
