As we’ve mentioned before, Madonna is trying everything she can to adopt little Mercy James from an orphanage in Malawi.
And what her Madgesty wants, she usually gets!
The appeal case to her failed adoption has now been pushed to May 4th and will be heard by a three-judge Supreme Court of Appeal panel in Malawi.
According to Joseph Chigona, the registrar of the High Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal, he said today that “As with all court cases involving infants, this one will be in chambers, not in an open court.” Though you know someone will definitely be leaking the new$ to the media about what happens behind the closed doors.
Madge is not required to be present during the appeal process, which is good considering it can take up to two weeks.
Her attorney seems hopeful, stating that “We believe the lower court judge erred by basing her judgment on an archaic law of over 50 years ago.”
Again, Madge is willing to offer this little girl a great life. Why deny her of it?
Do U think Madonna should be able to adopt little Mercy James?
