Alabama Supports Gay Discrimination Miss California

In good ol’ Alabama, Republican state representative Jay Love has drafted a resolution praising Miss California, Carrie Prejean, for standing by her beliefs in inequality.
The resolution was introduced on Tuesday and has come before the House Rules Committee for consideration.
Every member of the House Republican Caucus has signed onto the bill as co-sponsors, along with some Democrats.
Democratic State Representative Alvin Holmes, however, said, “I am not for the Alabama Legislature honoring her in any kind of way.”
Sounds like a spectacular waste of time and funding!
