This must be so concerning for Selena Gomez!
It appears that Selly G’s family is REALLY not on board with her rekindled romance with Justin Bieber. Case in point, Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, got so worked up about the youngsters’ reunion that she had to be taken to the hospital. How awful!

According to TMZ, police were forced to do a welfare check on Miz Teefey while she stayed at a Los Angeles area hotel last week. The request is said to have come from a family member.
Reportedly, Mandy was taken to a nearby hospital and examined by the doctors. While the pop star’s mother wasn’t placed on a 5150 hold, she DID voluntarily agree to be transported for treatment.
Sources close to the situation claim that the meltdown occurred after a heated conversation with Selena about the reunion with Bieber. Apparently, the former Disney darling revealed that she and Justin were in couples therapy. The realization that things were VVV serious between the two A-listers allegedly left Teefey in a state of distress.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve reported on the disdain that Selena’s fam has for the 23-year-old. In fact, it’s believed that Gomez’s loved ones blame the Canadian singer for the Bad Liar artist’s stint in rehab.

Mandy was released the same day she stopped by the hospital and is currently giving her daughter space to figure out her situation.
Selena, no man is worth losing your family over. There, we said it.
However, we should note, this time of year is always hard for Teefey as it’s the anniversary of the heartbreaking miscarriage she suffered in 2011. Just on Monday, Mandy recalled:
