Amy Schumer has fired Carrie Byalick, her longtime manager and PR rep. Oh, and also her husband’s ex-girlfriend.
Apparently Chris Fischer briefly dated Carrie back in 2007, which may explain why she reportedly wasn’t invited to the wedding despite working with Amy for years.

Carrie claims her dating history has nothing to do with the professional decision:
“People are always trying to make a story more interesting than reality. Our business relationship ended for many reasons, but has no connection to someone I briefly dated over a decade ago, years before I even met Amy. I couldn’t be happier for her personally and professionally, and though our working relationship ended, we remain good friends.”
That definitely sounds like something a publicist would say. LOLz!
But who fires their manager in the middle of a press tour for a new movie??
(BTW, I Feel Pretty hits theaters next Friday, April 20.)
