Katy Perry was a literal angel at the Met Gala on Monday.
However, the pop sensation almost didn’t grace the event with her heavenly presence as her car broke down en route to the red carpet. Yikes!!

According to TMZ, Miz Perry climbed into her 1930s-style white whip, only to discover that the engine was acting up. Despite being surrounded by her entourage and fans, the 33-year-old was noticeably upset as the car struggled to turn on. Eyewitnesses say the car was running properly moments before the engine hiccup, which explains why the automobile eventually rallied and got to movin’!
While Katy was only a block away from the A-list bash, we’re glad her car finally started, as it was one hell of a red carpet entrance. Not to mention, we’re thankful (or, perhaps, blessed?) that the Swish Swish singer made it to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, since she is one of our Best Dressed picks!!
