Lilly Singh is officially on her way to becoming the next Oprah — only instead of giving away cars to her audience, she’s giving away mock gift baskets to problematic men!
On Wednesday, the A Little Late host went after Matt Lauer over the new rape allegations that surfaced against him earlier this month by a former NBC staffer.
In a snarky new segment called Gift Baskets, the former YouTuber presented the disgraced Today show host with a mock gift basket full of practical items he could use — including a bottle of Jergens, “because the only thing that will be getting you off anytime soon is your own hand.”
Zing!
Singh didn’t stop there: she added she got the travel size bottle for Lauer, “because I can’t imagine your tiny penis would need any more than that.”
Double zing!
Lauer’s gift basket also included a chastity button and multiple letters — a reference to the letter the former anchor wrote in response to the allegations that he raped NBC News employee Brooke Nevils at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.

As we reported, Lauer categorically denied Nevils’ claims she did not consent to any of the sexual activities they participated in. Although he admitted to having the affair, the 61-year-old claimed the rape allegation “ignores the facts,” “defies common sense,” and has been spread “as part of a promotional effort” for Ronan Farrow to sell his new book Catch and Kill, in which the allegations were detailed.
Nevils eventually hit back with a statement of her own, calling Lauer’s response “a case study in victim blaming.”
It appears Singh stands with Nevils, as she presented Lauer with a few letters of her own.

Jergens aside, though, the allegations against Lauer are extremely serious. While he continues to downplay the seriousness of his alleged actions, they have made a truly negative impact on his alleged victims.
Farrow revealed in his book that Nevils attempted to take her own life in the wake of Lauer’s alleged crime, writing:
“Over the past two years, Nevils had attempted suicide. She’s been hospitalized for post-traumatic stress disorder, descended into heavy drinking, pulled herself back. She’d lost fourteen pounds. And gone to doctors twenty-one times in a single-month period.”
Lauer has since said he’s going to speak out again when the time is “appropriate,” but is waiting for the “marketing circus” to die down first.
He might have to wait a while.
