With Disney downsizing the company by 70% and only releasing three films under the Miramax name, could mega producers Bob and Harvey buy
back the name????
Sources say that the Weinsteins would be game to buy back the rights to their studio, and would “even be happy to manage the library” if the deal goes through!
Disney reps say they have no knowledge of the Weinsteins’ request, but we don’t see why they’d pass up the offer!
