Heiress Casey Johnson spent her final days surrounded by filth in her rented Hollywood Hills home. She lived without utilities because she couldn’t afford to pay them and the house was filled with garbage complete with rats in the swamp-like pool!
Eww!
Casey dealt with her demons by self-medicating with OxyContin, Klonopin, Adderrall and recreational drugs like marijuana and ecstacy. Her familly desperately wanted her to go to rehab, cutting her off from the family fortune until she went.
Casey went to rehab a few months ago at her family’s urging, but unfortunately she checked out early and refused to go back. Instead she found Tila Tequila and they embarked on a whirlwind romance leading to an engagement.
A friend of Casey’s says of their engagement video, showing the women in their underwear and Casey clearly in an altered state:
“[Tequila] was taking advantage of a sick girl. Casey would never have done that had she been in her right mind. She looked totally out of it in the video.”
Casey also suffered from diabetes and was taken to intensive care with diabetic comas twice in the last year!
Casey’s initial autopsy has been inconclusive and they are awaiting the toxicology results in about six weeks. The heiress’ body will be flown back east to be buried.
Sounds like she had a truly sad life, but didn’t reach out for the help her family wanted to give her. What a shame.
