Hayden Panettiere's Heartbreaking Cause Of Death Revealed

We now know the official cause of death for Hayden Panettiere.

According to a report from the Greenville County Coroner’s office, the actress and animal rights activist died from an accidental overdose due to “the toxic effects” of fentanyl, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol, and Quetiapine. As previously stated by authorities, there were no signs of trauma.

Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid and extremely dangerous. It’s often found laced in black market drugs without the user being aware. Alprazolam is the generic for Xanax. Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant. Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic most often used to treat conditions like bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, etc.

Hayden was only 36.

The Nashville star raised awareness for many causes, notably both animal rights and postpartum depression. Her legacy will live on through the positive impact she left on society, her brilliant performances on screen, the love and compassion she showed others, and of course, through her daughter, Kaya.
