Hottie Ben Winshaw has been called “one of Britain├óΓé¼Γäós great actors├óΓé¼┬¥ as his breakout performances flood the indie scene, but it’s his recent theater roles that interest us!
Ben is finishing a run in Cock, a play about sexuality and labels as a man takes a break from his boyfriend only to fall in love with a woman, at London’s Royal Court Theater. And his next role is in the off-Broadway show, The Pride, which contrasts the experiences of gay men in 1958 and 2008.
Considering his choice of productions, it’s possible Ben might have something he wants to tell us!
“Maybe it’s subconscious, I don’t know,” Winshaw says of his newest roles. “It’s intriguing to me that these parts come along. Of course the choices you make express something about you to the world, and of course the work I do is all about me, but rather than me standing up and making statements about myself and things, I’d prefer to let the work do the speaking.”
