In the City of Love yesterday, a group of gay French citizens took to the streets in front of St.Michels to hold a “kiss-in.” The event was the groups peaceful way of showing all of Paris the strength of their love and asking for acceptance from those who would insult them.

It’s important to mention that the kiss-in was suppose to be held at the Notre Dame Cathedral, but fear of violent acts from Christian Fundamentalists caused the organizers of the event to change locations. However, there were some who felt it was important for the kiss-in to be at the famed Cathedral, so they organized a group to go there after Saint Michel.
We’re told they were greeted by 200 Christian activists and when they started kissing, they were “attacked with motorbike helmets and kicked.”
How awful! Violence is never the answer!
