Academy Awards Wants Nominees To Prepare Two Speeches!

They keep making all these changes!

This year the Academy Awards nominees have been asked to prepare TWO speeches — one for the actual telecast up to 45 seconds long talking about what the award means to them and save their thank-yous for a backstage “Thank You Cam” that will be available online after the show for anyone to see.

WTF?

Long and rambling speeches being cued off by the music are what the Oscars are all about! Well, that and the fashion.

Who is actually going to stick to this?

We don’t see it happening — it’s a live show after all! Ha!
