Sopranos Creator Takes On First Film!!

Don’t get too excited, Sopranos fans, he’s NOT taking the Sex and the City route!!

David Chase, creator of the HBO mafia drama, plans to direct his first feature film with Paramount Pictures!!

The untitled script, also written by Chase, is apparently a music-driven coming of age story about a group of guys who form a rock band in the ’60s.

That’s a pretty vague description, but it already sounds like Almost Famous to us!!!

We’ll remain cautiously optimistic until more details emerge!! We still haven’t forgiven him for The Sopranos finale!!
