We’d expect nothing less from Santa Angelina!
Angelina Jolie donated $75,000 to build a primary school for girls in Tangi, Afghanistan where the education facilities were once unsuitable for girls.
The new school with eight classrooms can accommodate up to 800 girls in two shifts which is amazing for the education of women in the country. Says a local teacher:
“This is what we needed here and I believe there is a need for every community if we want to build the future of our country ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ to build schools and get education.”
How wonderful — and there are also plans to provide secondary education for girls as well in the new school!
