We do love us some Chezza, but if the girl has reservations about the gig, maybe she shouldn’t do it!
Cheryl Cole Tweedy has some serious doubts about coming to America to judge the US edition of X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star is said be getting a huge $$$ offer from Simon Cowell to cross the pond for the FOX series, but when she was on Fearne Cotton’s Radio 1 show, Cheryl insisted that it was all still rumors at this point and that she has yet to speak to Simon “directly” about joining the project.
When asked point blank if she would consider the show, she said:
“It’s kind of scary. I always think this, but why would they give a bleep what I thought. And I’ve got this weird accent. I love the thought of it and the talent out there is phenomenal. But whether they would buzz off me is a different thing.”
Cheryl also confessed that she would be terribly homesick if she came all the way to El Lay, but if the deal did come through she would give it “110 percent”.
Why put yourself through all of that? We think you should just stay put in the U.K. where you feel more comfy and secure. They can always find someone else in the U.S. to take your spot.
Someone with experience, someone with flair, someone who is more than willing to travel through the traffic across town to get to the studio!
In other words: Pick us!
