Hell no! This franchise has got a lot of life left in it.

Fox has just closed a deal with director Matthew Vaughn to step in and helm the latest film, X-Men: First Class, which will look at the earlier years of fan favorites Professor X and Magneto.

Along with announcing the director, the studio also provided a release date – June 3, 2011.
