A Prop 8 Decision In The Not-So-Distant Future?

We’re happy to report that there COULD be some new movement on Proposition 8 as soon as next week!
New California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye spoke about the subject on Wednesday, and said that California’s Supreme Court might decide “whether to weigh in on the federal Proposition 8 appeal” within the week.
Given the fact that the new Chief Justice performed a same-sex wedding back in 2008 while she was an appeals court judge, we’re thinking things COULD be looking up for support of a Prop 8 repeal in California.
Guess we’ll find out soon whether or not the possibility of a Proposition 8 repeal might be in the cards in the near future.
