With the advent of reality television, there really isn’t any such thing as a real celebrity feud anymore. Honestly, it seems that if you are desperate enough for attention or money or closure or money, you’ll just bring your troubles to any producer and say, “let’s make it a reality show.”
Such is the case for the O’Neal family. After 25 years of estrangement, Tatum O’Neal and her father, Ryan O’Neal have decided to reconcile…on camera.
The show is being pitched to networks right now, but we have to admit, we find this whole concept a bit unsettling. There are so many accusations of abuse surrounding their relationship. There were reports that he actually hit on her at the funeral of Farrah Fawcett.
Obviously, these deep have some dark issues, things we don’t feel America really wants to know about.
Hopefully, no one will option it and we can all just forget this whole mess! (We’re looking at you ,TLC! )
