Academy Reveals Reason For Revoking Religious Song's Oscar Nomination! Hint: It Was For CHEATING!

academy explains alone yet not alone best original song disqualification
Alone Yet Not Alone is an Oscar-nominated faith-based film.
Well, it was, at least, until last week when the Academy decided director/composer Bruce Boughton‘s Best Original Song nomination, also called Alone Yet Not Alone, was no longer allowed to win!
But why was the cheery hymn disqualified? Was this the opening salvo in Hollywood’s inevitable crusade against organized religion?
Not even!! How would one even wage a war against God? Imagine the logistics! Where would a lady aim her musket? LOLz!!
They DQ-ed the song because it appeared as if Bruce used his industry connections to gain an “unfair advantage” during the nomination process.
Today the Academy expanded upon its ruling. They released a new statement admonishing Bruce’s shady tactics:

├óΓé¼┼ôThe Academy takes very seriously anything that undermines the integrity of the Oscars voting process… The Board regretfully concluded that Mr. Broughton├óΓé¼Γäós actions did precisely that… Mr. Broughton should have been more cautious about acting in a way that made it appear as if he were taking advantage of his position to exert undue influence… The Academy is dedicated to doing everything it can to ensure a level playing field for all potential Oscar contenders ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ including those who don├óΓé¼Γäót enjoy the access, knowledge, and influence of a long-standing Academy insider.├óΓé¼┬¥

There you have it, folks! Cheaters never prosper!
Except on Wall Street, LOLz! They seem to get away with everything!
Bruce, for what it’s worth, still thinks his religious song should be nominated despite all evidence to the contrary! That’s faith for ya, we suppose!
